The driver of my dollar bullishness is the divergence of monetary policy and its trajectory. I think this divergence period ought not to be measured in days, week or even months. Rather quarters may be more appropriate. It will persist through next year, and I suspect well into 2017. Until we are closer to the peak in monetary policy divergence, I am reluctant to pick a top to the dollar.
