Great Graphic: Asia Manufacturing PMIs

This Great Graphic was posted on the Financial Times' Beyond Brics blog.   It shows the manufacturing PMI for five Asian countries and Taiwan (perhaps being in China, more cognizant of the sensitivity of considering Taiwan a country). 

Except for India, all the manufacturing PMIs are above the 50 boom/bust level.  Of these six, this is the least below 50 since April.   As recently as August, only China was above 50.  After deteriorating in Q2 and through most of Q3, there has been notable improvement.  That said, the two largest countries, China and India are the only ones where the manufacturing PMI is below where it was in January.
