While cable television enjoys the greatest popularity overall, for the youngest cohort (18-26 year-olds), Netflix is almost as popular.
In addition to suggesting a bright future for streaming media (no, this is not a stock recommendation), it may also reflect a larger cultural development that is the direction of greater mobility in place and time and customization of mass production. This is true in music, news, and increasingly, footwear and clothing.
